Terms of Sale

These terms cover buying the For Shore Pass for the games at forshoregames.com/play/. For Shore Games is a small game studio on the Jersey Shore. By buying the Pass or using the games, you agree to these terms.
What You Get
- One For Shore Pass license key. It opens every game in For Shore Games, including new games we add while we run them.
- The key works on up to 5 devices at a time. A device that hasn't been used for 30 days frees its slot automatically.
- It's a one-time purchase. It isn't a subscription: nothing renews, and there's nothing to cancel.
- The games run in your web browser and need an internet connection. They're made for current versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox on phones, tablets and computers.
The Pass is a license to play the games. It doesn't sell you the games or their content, and you can't resell or share the key outside your household.
Price and Payment
- The price is shown on the Buy button and on the checkout page before you pay. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
- Payment is handled by Link, the payment service of Stripe. Link is the seller of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, charges and pays the tax, and sends your official receipt. The charge shows on your statement as LINK.COM*. We never see or store your card number.
- Your key arrives by email right after payment, and the device you paid on is signed in automatically.
- If we change the price later, it only affects new purchases. A Pass you already bought keeps everything it includes.
Who Can Buy
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian make the purchase. Kids are welcome to play with a Pass a grown-up bought for them.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason. See the Refund Policy. When a refund goes through, the Pass key stops working.
Using the Games
- Play fair. Don't cheat, attack the servers, copy or resell the games, or use the online games to bother other players.
- We may turn off a key that's being shared publicly, resold, or used to break these rules. We'll email the buyer first unless it's urgent.
- The games are in active development. We add and change things often, and may fix, change or retire a game. Our goal is that the Pass keeps opening every game we run.
- If we ever close the games for good, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email to Pass holders.
If Something Goes Wrong
If a game doesn't work on your device, write to support@forshoregames.com and we'll try to fix it. If we can't, we'll refund you, even after 14 days. The games are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for more than the amount you paid for the Pass. Nothing here limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters for Pass holders, we'll email you about it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without taking away any rights the laws of your own country give you.
